Perfecto Automation provides a powerful Visual Analysis tool set that provides:
- Text (using OCR) recognition on the device screen
- Visual image recognition on the device screen
- Ability to search for the text/image by scrolling the device display
- Ability to select UI elements based on the analysis
- Ability to touch the screen near the identified text/image
Use these tools to:
- Validate that the display corresponds to the expected results
- Interact with UI elements that are difficult to identify using basic object identification
Restriction: For desktop web testing, only text analysis is available. This includes the following functions:
mobile:button-text:click (not supported for Safari due to an Apple limitation)
mobile:edit-text:set (not supported for Safari due to an Apple limitation)
