Initiate a call to an open device

For devices with a SIM card installed, you can simulate everyday events, such as receiving an incoming call while the application is running. In this way, you can test how a device responds to such events.

Restriction: You can initiate a call to a device only if the device has a network connection enabled.

To initiate a call to an open device:

  1. In the widgets pane, click the Environment button .
  2. On the Environment tab, click Call Me.

  3. To specify the testing method, select the required checkbox next to these options:

    • Execute the selected action on the device.

    • Add the selected action to the test.

  4. Click APPLY.
  5. When the call comes in, accept or reject it as needed for testing.
  6. (Optional) At the top, click Back to return to the Environment tab.
