Restart a device

You can restart a device if the device freezes or for a fresh start.

Restarting a device may take some time. You cannot perform any operations while the device is in the reboot process.

Restriction: Depending on your cloud configuration, only users with admin or lab admin roles can restart a device. To enable this configuration in your cloud, contact Perfecto Support.

To restart a device:

  1. In the widgets pane, click the Device button .

  2. On the Device tab, click Restart Device.

  3. In the Restart Device widget, do the following:

    1. To specify the testing method, select the required checkbox next to these options:

      • Execute the selected action on the device.

      • Add the selected action to the test.

    2. Click APPLY.

    3. (Optional) At the top, click the Back button to return to the Device tab.
