Set a location

On an open device, if you test a location-aware app that uses Location Services to generate location data, you can set a location without moving the device. As a location, Scriptless Mobile accepts an address (full or partial) or a pair of latitude and longitude coordinates.

To set a location:

1. In the widgets pane, click the Environment button .
2. On the Environment tab, click Location.

3. In the Location form, do the following:

   1. In the search field, specify the location in one of the following ways:

      • A full or partial address, city, state, or country

      • Latitude and longitude coordinates as a comma-separated pair, such as 51.4929, 8.2884

   2. (Optional) Beneath the map, copy the information in the Location or Coordinates field by using the Copy to clipboard button next to the corresponding fields.

   3. To specify the testing method, select the required check box next to these options:

      • Execute the selected action on the device.

      • Add the selected action to the test.

   4. (Optional) To search for a different location, click RESET.

   5. To apply the location, click APPLY.

   6. (Optional) At the top, click Back to return to the Environment tab.
