Lock or unlock the device screen

While working with AI commands on an open device, you can lock or unlock the device screen. If a device is locked, you cannot interact with the elements on the device screen, and the buttons on the device toolbar are unavailable. Consider keeping the device screen locked so it does not change while you work on it.

A device automatically locks when you send inputs through the AI assistant.

To lock the device screen:

  1. Open the AI assistant pane.

  2. To lock the device screen, on the device toolbar, click the Lock device screen button .

    You can unlock the device screen by clicking the Unlock device screen button .

    Important: The Lock/Unlock device screen appears only when the AI assistant pane is open.

To unlock the device screen:

  • Click the stop button in the AI Assistant pane. The AI assistant stops working on your latest input.

    Important: The stop button appears only when the AI Assistant is running a validation or processing your input.
