Create a notification channel

Notification channels allow groups of users to receive focused notifications. Scriptless Web currently supports email and Slack channels. This article explains how to create a new channel.

To create a notification channel:

1. Click the menu icon at the top left and select System Management. 
2. In the System Management dialog box, on the NOTIFICATION CHANNELS tab, click New.
3. In the New Notification Channel panel, do the following:
   1. In the Channel name field, enter a descriptive name for your channel.
   2. From the Channel Type list, select Email or Slack.
   3. Depending on the channel type do the following:
      • For an Email channel, enter an email address and press ENTER. Repeat for each member of the channel.
      • For a Slack channel, continue with the next step. If Scriptless Web has already been integrated with your Slack workspace, the new group will be created in Slack and you can add members through the Slack interface. If Scriptless Web has not been integrated yet, you need to request permission first. 
   4. Click CREATE.
4. Click APPLY.
