Use these operations to manage device groups.
Device groups simplify access management. Instead of assigning individual devices to users, you create groups of devices and grant access to those groups. This approach is useful when managing large inventories or organizing devices by team or project.
A device group can include multiple devices, and a device can belong to more than one group. Similarly, users can be members of multiple groups. This flexibility allows you to organize devices by project, location, or any other logical category.
Prerequisites
To perform device operations, you need a role of admin or lab admin. To learn more, see Device groups and access control.
