Virtual device enhancements

iOS 16.1 RC

iOS 16.1 RC is now supported on select simulators and in the US only.

New devices

With support for iOS 16.1 RC, the following new devices are now supported:

  • iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (6th generation) (16GB)

  • iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (6th generation)

  • iPad Pro (11-inch) (4th generation) (16GB)

  • iPad Pro (11-inch) (4th generation)

  • iPad (10th generation)

Perfecto Knowledgebase

The Perfecto Knowledgebase, formerly known as TIPS AND TRICKS, is now available at https://help.perfecto.io/perfecto-help/content/kb/home-kb.htm. The new location provides a cleaner and leaner content body that is aligned in look, feel, and functionality with the Perfecto online help.

The Knowledgebase complements the Perfecto online help. It dives deeper and provides information on edge cases and scenarios you are less likely to encounter on a daily basis.

Platform support

iOS

Support for the following new iOS versions is now available in all clouds:

  • iOS 16.2 Beta 1, 16.1 GA, 16.0.3 GA

  • iOS 15.7.1 RC

macOS

Support for MacOS Ventura is now available for desktop web testing. This operating system is currently available for private clouds upon demand. If interested, contact Perfecto Support.

In addition, for desktop web testing, Perfecto now supports a new screen resolution of 2560x1600 on Mac machines.

Android

Perfecto now supports the new Android 13 devices Google Pixel 7 and Google Pixel 7 Plus.

Browser support

Support for the following new browser versions is now available:

  • Mozilla Firefox 106 Stable and 107 Beta on Windows and Mac machines

  • Microsoft Edge 107 Stable on Windows machines

  • Google Chrome 107 Stable on Windows and Mac machines

  • Safari 16 on machines running macOS BigSur, Monterey, and Ventura
