Flows
With Scriptless Web, you can create and maintain alternative versions of a test. Each version is called a test flow. When you create a flow, you can enable or disable steps or change the sequence of steps.

Click a task to expand it.
After you create a test, you can add one or more test flows. This procedure assumes that you have an existing test to work with.

Access the test:

Click the menu button at the top left and select Tests.

In the Tests view, click the desired test.

On the canvas, in Advanced Mode, at the top left below the menu button , click F.

In the left pane that opens, do the following:

Click + New Flow.

In the Add Flow dialog box, enter the flow name and description.

Click ADD.
-

Select the new flow you created.
Important: Datasets are part of flows. The default dataset is assigned to the new flow. If a test has multiple datasets, you can select a dataset while running a flow. For more information, see Datasets. - On the canvas, edit the flow.
- Click Save.
A test can have multiple flows. You can select a flow from the list of available flows and then run it.

Access the test:

Click the menu button at the top left and select Tests.

In the Tests view, click the desired test.

- On the canvas, in Advanced Mode, at the top left below the menu button , click F.
- Select the desired flow from the list of flows.

Click Run.

Do the following, depending on whether the selected flow is an existing flow or a new flow:

For an existing flow, the Select job dialog box appears:

Select a job.

(Optional) If you select an AdHoc job, select the desired data set.

Click NEXT.

On the Run Test dialog box, select an environment and target platform. Upload a data file if required. Click RUN.

For a new flow, the Run Test dialog box appears:

Select an environment and target platform.

Upload a data file if required.

Click RUN.

A job can be a group of tests or flows. You can add a flow to a job the way you add a test to a job.

In the Jobs view, select an existing job or create a job. To create a job, do the following:

Click Add Job.

In the Add Job dialog box, add a name and description for the job.

Click ADD.

In the Tests pane, click Add Test.

In the Add Test dialog box, a drop-down button appears for the tests with multiple flows.

Click the drop-down button beside a test name.

(Optional) A drop-down button appears for the flows with multiple data sets. Click the drop-down button beside the flow that you want to run.

Navigate to the desired flow or data set and click the Add to job button .

Click CLOSE.

Click the Run button .

In the Run Job dialog box, do the following:

Select an environment and target platform.

Upload a data file if required.

Click RUN.
