Schedule a job

You can schedule a job to run at predefined times, for example once a day, every day, at 7am, or at an interval of every 2 hours. This article explains how.

To schedule a job:

1. In the Jobs view, click the job for which you want to configure a schedule.
2. In the left pane, select Schedule.
3. At the top right, click Add schedule.
4. In the Add schedule dialog box, specify the required options, as follows:
   • Name: A descriptive name for the schedule
   • Environment: The environment to which you would like the schedule to apply
   • Target Platform: The platform or platforms to which the schedule should apply, such as Google Chrome at a resolution of 1920x1080

   • Repeat: The interval or time at which you want the schedule to run

     For jobs that are scheduled to repeat at a specified time, Scriptless Web converts the specified time to the UTC zone.

   • Run days: The days of the week to which the schedule should apply

   • Upload data file: Click to use dynamic data (context variables) (context variables)

     Restriction:

     For upload, a file cannot exceed 40 MB.

5. Click ADD.
6. Go back to the Jobs view and make sure the Run automatically according to schedule toggle is turned on. If this option is turned off, the listed jobs will not run even if you have created a schedule for them.
