If your test report indicates that the final status of the test is Application crashed, this indicates that a crash report was generated by the device operating system while running the application under test. What can you do?
Report this crash to the application developer. Including the following information will help the developer to better identify the application problem:
- Overview of the scenario
- Identification of which application screen was displayed at the time of the crash
- Identification of the step in the scenario that was last executed successfully
- Crash report file (downloaded from the STR)
This information should allow the developer to identify the exact problem and find the proper correction.
