What’s New in Perfecto 26.1?
This release introduces support for the following new features and enhancements:
- Perfecto MCP server for Android devices
- App switcher for accessing platform capabilities through natural-language requests
- New REST APIs for certificate management and and audit record retrieval
- Variable selection for loops in Scriptless Mobile
- Voice call audio on Android devices
Deprecation and end-of-life (EOL) reminders:
- Android 8 and 9 will reach EOL on March 29, 2026
- Appium 1 is disabled for all customers except those granted an extension as of January 13, 2026. On March 2, 2026, Appium 2.19 becomes the default execution engine.
This release also adds support for new platform versions for real devices as well as new browser versions.
