Release 25.5

See what's new in Perfecto 25.5 (released on April 27, 2025):

Updated branding in the Perfecto UI

The Perfecto user interface now aligns with Perforce’s new visual branding. This update is purely cosmetic and includes:

  • A new Perfecto logo

  • Updated color palette

  • Refreshed fonts and typography

These changes are now live in all Perfecto clouds. There are no functionality changes.

This visual refresh is part of our ongoing effort to enhance the Perfecto experience while maintaining the functionality you rely on.

Scriptless Mobile enhancements

In this release, Scriptless Mobile includes the following enhancements.

Improved visibility for AI commands | Scriptless Mobile

To enhance usability and draw attention to Perfecto's innovative AI capabilities, Scriptless Mobile now presents AI commands in a distinct tile format within the left sidebar. Previously listed as a node alongside other commands, AI commands now stand out visually—making them easier to identify and access during test creation.

To support this improvement, the Search Commands field now appears just below the AI commands, making it quicker to find additional commands and checkpoints without losing focus on the new layout. Commands and checkpoints are now displayed below the Search Commands field in two dedicated nodes, instead of on separate tabs, allowing for a more streamlined and continuous browsing experience.

To learn more, see AI commands.

Perfecto Smart Reporting enhancements

In this release, PerfectoSmart Reporting includes the following enhancements.

Enhanced step titles in single test reports

In a single test report (STR), essential command information now appears directly in the step title. This improvement enhances the visibility of key parameters, making it easier to understand test steps at a glance and reducing the need to open command details.

Important: This change applies to a limited set of commands and frameworks.

Deprecation and EOL notice: iOS 14

iOS 14 is deprecated as of April 27, 2025. Mobile devices running iOS 14 remain available, but Perfecto will no longer provide any fixes or test iOS 14 releases on such devices.
