Release 25.2
See what's new in Perfecto 25.2 (released on February 16, 2025):
AI Validation for adaptive, intelligent testing
You can now validate visual checkpoints in your application UI using Perfecto's AI Validation feature. AI-based validations enable you to:
-
Leverage advanced artificial intelligence (AI) to validate applications visually and contextually and dynamically adapt to application changes without human intervention
-
Simplify the creation and maintenance of tests by dynamically adapting to changes without requiring manual script updates or fragile locators, reducing costs, accelerating time-to-market, and ensuring higher quality
-
Test elements that were previously untestable, like dynamic dashboards, graphs, and complex visual components
You can access and run Perfecto's AI-based validation command through the AI Visual Checkpoint
command in Scriptless Mobile or as part of your Appium scripts using a new Perfecto extension called perfecto:ai-validation
.
To be able to use the new AI Validation feature, your organization's Perfecto administrator needs to explicitly consent to the usage of AI.
